- I can acquire and use vocabulary by reading the 10 vocabulary cards.
1. Find the vocabulary cards for Lesson 18 on p. 538-539- starts with "career" student e-book
2. Read all ten cards. Practice the vocabulary using Quizlet (on Teams), then complete the vocabulary activity on Microsoft Teams under assignments.
3. Read page 540-541 "Read and Comprehend" in the student e-book (You may use the audio button on the left). Complete the activity Previewing the Topic: Creative Writing on Microsoft Teams (**Second page on the vocabulary assignment**).
4. Independent Reading- It's May. Don't forget to keep up with your reading. You can print and record the minutes you read on this Reading Calendar.
