Mrs. Lodovico
Welcome!
My name is Mrs. Lodovico, I have been teaching in the Niagara Falls City School District since 2000. I started off my career as a long term Art sub at the brand new Niagara Falls High School, then I taught art at Niagara Middle school (now Cataract Elementary), until I switched to 8th grade ELA. I taught at Niagara Middle school until it closed and transferred to Gaskill Prep as an 8th grade ELA and AIS teacher. In the fall of 2019 I was presented with an opportunity to teach English at Niagara Falls High School, so I took it and am glad I did! I taught 9th grade for the remainder of the school year. At the end of the year I got a call asking me if I'd be interested in teaching something else, so currently:
I teach 12th grade English at Niagara Falls High School, Room 116.
My husband (who is a technology teacher, but in a different school district) and I have three sons, one of which has graduated from Niagara Falls High School, one currently goes here and the third will be coming soon! We have three dogs who we like to travel with in the summers and have driven to 49 of the 50 states!
I received my Bachelor’s in Art Education and Art Therapy from Mercyhurt College (now University) in 2000, then went on to get a few more credits in English to be certified in both English and art. I received my Masters in Literacy from Niagara University and a Teacher Leadership Certificate shortly thereafter. I love to teach and read and am so glad I am able to share that love with you!
