Pending the appropriation of State funds by the New York State Legislature, 8,000 scholarships will be awarded for students graduating in 2020. Of the 8,000 scholarships, 2,000 scholarships will have a value of $1,500 each and 6,000 scholarships will have a value of $500 each.

National Society Daughters of the American Revolution
The DAR Good Citizens program and scholarship contest is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. The program is open to all senior class students enrolled in accredited public or private secondary schools that are in good standing with their state boards of education. United States citizenship is not required. The student selected as the school's DAR Good citizen must have the qualities of dependability (which includes truthfulness, loyalty, and punctuality); service (which includes cooperation, courtesy, and consideration of others); leadership (which includes personality, self-control, and ability to assume responsibility); and patriotism (which includes unselfish interest in family, school, community and nation) to an outstanding degree.

Olive Whitman Memorial Scholarship Fund
Due: May 1, 2020
Eligibility: Female student who is at least 50% Native American graduating with a B+ or higher average; Residing in NY State and plan to attend or attending a college, uinveristy, or graduate school accredited by the NYS Department of Education.
Encompass Niagara FCU Scholarship
Amount: 5 @ $500
Open date: June 1 - July 31, 2020
REQUIREMENT: Student must be a member for at least 6 months to apply for the scholarship, be accepted into a college to apply, and provide a tuition bill to receive. No essay required!
