District policies are continually being revised to bring them up-to-date with current practices and to be in compliance with statutory requirements.

INTRODUCTION
One of the charges of the Board as an elected body is set policies and provide direction to the District administration.
Policies: What are they?
Policies are laws of the District, which may include regulations;there are specific procedural steps used to implement policies. Policies are needed for the general management, operation, control, maintenance, and discipline of schools by a Board of Education. It is the responsibility of the District, in conjunction with the Board, to determine what policies are needed to govern its district effectively.
