Student Recognition

Student of the Month

Every month each cluster is asked to nominate a few students for Student of the Month.  Those students are chosen on his or her behavior, grades, attendance, and attitude.  Each student that is chosen receives a Positive Behavior key chain/wallet, a Gaskill Pride bumper sticker and a certificate. Students are photographed and their pictures are displayed in the front hall at GPS and also mailed to the Niagara Gazette. The students are then guests of the administrators at a quarterly celebration.

"Caught Doing Good"

Students will receive a "Caught Doing Good" slip for displaying a positive trait: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, & Citizenship. Students will then have the opportunity to select a small prize or award for their good deed. "Caught Doing Good" slips will be on display in the front case where staff, students, and visitors enter the building
