FROM THE DESK OF MR. WOJTON, ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
It’s hard to believe, but the New Year is upon us, and in 2019 we’ll only build upon the great things happening at Gaskill Preparatory School!
In only a few months, the following programs have taken place at Gaskill Preparatory School; “Fall Festival Dance, “Turkey Trot’’, “Niagara University Grandparents/Parent workshops, “Robotics VEX IQ Challenge’’, “Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser with proceeds benefiting Roswell Treatment Center’’, “21st CCLC Programs’’, “Modified Sports’’, “Choral/Band Concert” and more... an exciting start to the year but many more positive opportunities for student engagement coming in the New Year.
Several committees are ensuring Gaskill is moving in the right direction; Parent Groups, Building Level Safety Committee, Student Council to name a few; I encourage you to get involved! The next Parent Group meeting is March 21st at 9:30 am.
As we approach the mid-year point, it’s important that students stay focused and continue to improve daily. If for some reason the 10-week marking period was not successful, there is still time to re-focus, address areas of concern and move to the next level.
I want to thank staff, students, parents and guardians for a successful start to the school year. Looking forward to a great 2019!
