• Attendance

Attending school regularly and on time has a major influence on a student's academic performance. Chronic absenteeism, or missing more than 10% of the school year can put a student at risk for falling behind in instruction, and lead to a failure to graduate. Parents and caregivers are the most important influence on whether or not a child attends school. There is so much you can do to ensure your child is attending school and on time! View the parent information handout below for more information on the importance of attendance as well as some steps you can take to support your child.
