Daily Speech and Language Activities
-Read a 1-3 page article from a book or magazine. Tell a parent what you read about. Parents, ask your child questions about the material that they read.
-Choose a few words from the article and have your child tell you a synonym and antonym for the word.
-Build your vocabulary. When you come across new words when you’re reading or talking, discuss those new words. Learn their meaning. Find a synonym and antonym.
-Articulation – When you are reading or talking, monitor your target sounds and self-correct.
