Monday, April 13th's Assignment:(Periods 2, 4, 5, and & 7)
-Watch the BrainPop video, as many times as necessary, on the Holocaust(Username:nflasalle;Password:brainpop).
-Go into Amplify(Holocaust Unit); Sub-unit 1, Lesson 1. Work on Slide 1 (Vocabulary) for about 10 minutes. Your vocabulary will be checked weekly.
-Go into the Amplify Library and download the following texts: Holocaust: Memory &Meaning Anthology/Shores Beyond Shores by Irene Butter/ EXTRA:Maus I: My Father Bleeds History by Art Spiegelman.
Make sure you have bookmarked the Amplify Library.
-Complete Slides 3 and 4 of Sub-Unit 1, and hand in. *I will be checking your work at the end of each day.

-Complete at least 2 lessons from Reading Plus.

-Jot down at least 20 facts that you've learned about the Holocaust, from both the Brainpop video, and the first two lessons we've covered from Amplify, this week. *To get credit, you can take a picture of your work and send it to me through Remind, or send it to my email: mcrossley@nfschools.net.
-Read your independent material, of your choosing (book, graphic novel, magazine, or newspaper) for at least 20 minutes. Stop and make meaning, in your mind, after each page, to ensure you're comprehending what you read.

E=Explain both quotes that were cited.
-Hand in your response once you have finished, so it can be graded!
