Sight words: all, her, over, she, some, when
Read Aloud Oscar and the Frog

* Talk with an adult: How do plants and animals grow and change?
Why do mother animals lay eggs where they do?
Skills: Listen to the Nursey Rhyme Mary, Mary Quite Contrary - Think about how plants grow.
* Find one word that rhymes with the following words. (Remember rhyming words end the same.)
cot, fan, hen, jam, six, sun
Writing: This week we will be creating an invitation.
*Make a list of five family members/friends you would like to invite to your "party"
Math: Identifying Teen Numbers - 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19
* Count and write the number.
Science: * Color and Label the stages of a frogs life.
(egg, embryo, tadpole, tadpole with legs, froglet, frog)
Day 2:

Read Aloud Zinnia's Flower Garden By: Monica Wellington
* Orally retell the story to an adult using the words first, next, then, last
* The book contains a calendar - orally say the Months of the Year
Skills: *Write your sight words three times each. (all, her, over, she, some, when)
Writing: While we continue to think about making an invitation, dictate to an adult your details.
* Who is the party for?
* What kind of party are you having?
* When is the party?
* Where is the party going to be?
Math : Review your teen numbers again (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19)
Build Your Teen Numbers into the Ten Frames
Science: We have been learning about the four seasons (Winter, Spring, Fall, Summer)
* Name one month that falls in each season.
Day 3:
ELA
Reread Zinnia's Flower Garden By: Monica Wellington
* Think about the steps involved in planting a flower and discuss them in order with an adult
(first, next, then, last)
Skills: * Tap out the following words : hum, dig, met, tan, duck, shop
* Write your sight words on small pieces of paper and fold them in half (all, her, over, she, some, when)
As you choose a piece, open it up and read it.
Writing: * View Mrs. Martell's Model invitation below, and start thinking of ideas for your own.

* Create a list of the five things plants need to grow.
Skills: "Ee" is our letter/sound of the week.
Watch The Letter Ee - Review your vowels (a, e, i, o, u) and tap out the long e and short e words in the video.
Writing: * Begin to complete your invitation.

* Name two new things you learned from each of the stories.

Also read and review this weeks sight words (all, her, over, she, some, when)
Writing: * Complete a final copy of your invitation and decorate it to match the party theme.
Reading Comprehension - Read and Complete
Math: * Count to 100 aloud by 1's and 10's
*Complete these two sheets on Number Writing to 100 using a Number Line.
