    About Me:

    I am Tiffany Nalls-Ford, a native of Niagara Falls and graduate of LaSalle Senior High School. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Buffalo State College in Hospitality Administration and my graduate degree in Social Work from University of Buffalo. I have worked in the field of social work for over 15 years working with at-risk youth, mental health, criminal justice, and medical populations.

    What is a School Social Worker?

    Is a professional trained in both social worker and education. They work within the student's home, school, and community to resolve problems that interfere with adjustment to school, achievement, or attendance.  They also serve as children and family advocates trained to identify gaps in service systems and to negotiate positive change.  They work with individual students, families and groups, as well as in collaboration with other educational and community professionals.
