Elementary Enrichment Program

  • The Elementary Enrichment Program is for students in grades two through six who have demonstrated the need for a more challenging academic experience.  Student records and test results are evaluated and those identified are recommended for the program.  Initial testing begins in first grade.  Other major gateways for testing and re-evaluation of students occur in the sixth and eighth grades.  The curriculum taught in the Enrichment Program is designed to lead students to Advanced Placement courses.  The program was designed and will be monitored by the District Honors/Enrichment Committee, consisting of administrators, teachers, parents, and students.  The program is located at Harry F. Abate Elementary School.
