What is Primary Project?
Primary Project is a school based early detection and prevention program. Primary Project enhances social, emotional, behavioral and learning skills and reduces social, emotional and school adjustment difficulties in preschool through primary grade children. Once students are identified for Primary Project they meet with carefully selected and trained paraprofessionals (child associates) that utilize developmentally appropriate child-led play as a vehicle to provide them with timely, effective support. Child associates work closely with and under the supervision of our school counselor to provide effective care for the children in the program.
