      Daily Writing Assignments for week of April 20th

     Please try to write your assignments in a journal or notebook and save it for me to look at!

    You need to write everyday while you are home.

    Monday-Write your letters  Aa-Zz upper and lower case, write your sightwords-Said, good, was , then, ate, could.  Can you write one of them in a sentence? I ate pizza, it was good.  Draw a picture.

    Tuesday-Read Leo the Late Bloomer.  Write about a time when you learned something new and how it made you feel.

       1. Get a piece of paper , write your name. 

       2. Write,  I learned how to ______________________(ride a bike, read a book, do a cartwheel)it made me feel______________________. (proud , happy, excited)

    Wednesday-Write what you would like to do for a job when you grow up.  I would like to be a _____________________. (nurse, doctor, fireman, teacher) Why would you like to have that job? Can you write  a second sentence? Example:

    I want to help help people feel better, I think it would be fun.

    Thursday-Pick one of the books you heard this week and write about your favorite part. My favorite part was when______________.

    Friday-Draw a picture about something you like to do outside.  When I go outside I like to __________________________.
