       Directions: Parents please read the math story to your child. In their notebook, they can show 2 ways to solve the problem. 

      Monday:

       Brianna had 8 balloons. She gave 3 to her best friend, Nessiah. How many balloons does Brianna have now?

      Tuesday:

       Natalie had 12 marshmallows in her cereal. Her mom put 3 more in. How many marshmallows are in Natalie’s cereal now? 

      Wednesday:

      Patrick was working with 10 legos. He gave 4 to Wyatt. How many legos does Patrick still have? 

      Thursday:

      Jackson had 8 cookies. He gave half to Ryan. How many do they each have?
