    Children learn so many things while helping out in the kitchen! 

    Setting the table helps children practice routine and patterning.  Creating a recipe with an adult provides hand-on fun practicing number identification, counting, measuring, taking turns, fine motor skills (like stirring, rolling, pinching), and many reading and language skills (speaking, listening, following directions, reading labels, etc.)...

    We will add recipes here.  Let me know which ones you tried and liked!  Send me a picture or comment to my email!  If you see something you want to share with the group, let me know. 

    In class, we ate and cooked weekly! 

    It was a wonderful way for us all to come together and share special times!
