For younger students (or anyone) who may have difficulty with creating a 3D structure design, this activity provides an alternative project. 

You can use this graph paper to help you design your floor plan. 

These paper templates can be used for building your house.  This is only for those students who want to use them and have access to a printer.  You will need to print out as many as you need. There is a template to make a cylinder, a rectangular prism, a cube, a pyramid and a cone.
