This week we will be playing make a dollar with different card coins. A dollar is equal to 100.
A penny is equal to 1c.
A penny is the only coin that is copper colored. Nickels, dimes and quarters are silver colored.
A nickel is equal to 5c and it is silver and thicker than a penny
A dime is equal to 10c and it is the smallest coin
A quarter is equal to 25c and it is the largest coin out of the four choices

This week we will be playing close to 100. After watching the video print up the cards and instruction sheet and have fun playing close to 100 with your family. We played this game earlier in the year in the classroom and now it is your turn to show your family how much fun math can be. You can also make your own 0-20 cards using blank index cards.
