    Public Library

    The Niagara Falls Public Library has altered their services to the public for the safety of patrons and staff in this uncertain time:

    • The library foyer is now closed.
    • Return items will be accepted via our book drops only.
    • Online reservations cannot be made until further notice. Items may be requested by phone or email ONLY.

    Operating hours:

    • Main Library 9am-12pm    M-F  
    • LaSalle Library 10am-1pm M-F  
    • Items ready for pick up will be bagged and available in the library vestibule.
    • All materials will be checked in fine-free until further notice.
    • All items will now have a due date of April 20.
    • Nioga deliveries will cease on March 27.
    • No passport services at this time
    • No notary services at this time
    • WiFi signal can be accessed outside of each library building, though please practice social distancing of 6 feet apart.

    Fitness

    Tree of Life Yoga Studio

    Classes will be held through Zoom. Click here to download Zoom on your computer, tablet, or phone.
     
    In order to participate in a virtual class, please register through MINDBODY by visiting our website or finding us on the MINDBODY app.
     
    In order to make classes accessible to as many people as possible, I have added a $1 single class option. $5, $10, and $15 single class options are still available, as well as 5-class packages.
     
    Please note, the email address that you use on MINDBODY is the email address where we will send details for logging in to the virtual class. If you need to use a different email address than the one associated with your MINDBODY account, please reply to this email or text me at 716-939-0892.
     
    Please register on MINDBODY at least 4 hours before the scheduled class. This will help decrease the amount of administrative time needed to coordinate virtual classes.  
     
    All registered students will receive an email with instructions to log in to class at least 30 minutes before the scheduled class time. There is an option to turn on or off your audio and video during class.  
      

    Food Assistance

    Niagara Falls City School District

    Breakfast and lunch will be distributed to all district students.  These can be picked up at the school building closest to your house.

    Catholic Charities

    Offering food vouchers to Save A Lot for people who recently lost their jobs and have applied for unemployment.

    People receiving SNAP benefits DONT qualify.

    Aero Transportation

    Helping families who need food delivered from the school. They are also willing to pick up food from food panties and deliver to families if needed.

    Sam’s Club

    Offering concierge service to senior citizens and at-risk members. They are able to pull up to a dedicated concierge spot where an associate will take your order, complete your shopping and load everything in your car.

    Tuesday and Thursdays from 7am-9am

    Community Missions

    Pantry is open Tues, Thurs, and Friday from 1-3 to anyone.

    Kitchen is still doing lunch from 11:30-12:45. It is a grab and go line. Anyone can get lunch from the community as well but cannot stay at CMI to eat.
