Important Attendance Information regarding excusing students early
Children must be in school in order to achieve. Learning goes on ALL DAY LONG! It is important to be on time and in classrooms, including at day's end. While we understand scheduled appointments can't be helped, excusing students early for anything other than an appointment can be helped and must be tracked. Beginning November 1, all requests for students to be excused will require an excuse. Kindly bring a doctor's note for appointments during the day so we can record a legal absence, excuse, or tardiness.
Also, please note that if the need arises to change your child's dismissal procedure (for example, your child will be picked up rather than taking the bus home), please call the school BEFORE 1:30 p.m. (12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays)
