What is PTECH?
P-TECH is a program that lets you earn a high school diploma AND a college degree at the same time—at no cost to you or your family.
You’ll take regular high school classes, but also:
- Earn college credits (and even a full associate’s degree)
- Explore real careers in engineering, technology, and computer science
- Work with professionals from real companies
- Gain experience through field trips, job shadowing, and projects
- Receive specific college and career advice from professionals
P-TECH is designed to help you graduate with a plan—whether that’s going straight into a career, continuing college, or both.
No special test scores are required—just a willingness to try something new and work toward your future.
Typical timeline: 4 years at NFHS plus one year on the SUNY Niagara campus. Summer programming and college course work help reach this goal!
