    Hi everyone! Thanks for joining me.  

    My name is Ms. Molly Kurek (everyone calls me Ms. Molly).  I am the counselor at Cataract Elementary. I live right her in Niagara Falls with my family and I love to see my students and their families out in our community.

  • What an Elementary School Counselor does:

    * Counselor's provide academic and social emotional assistance to students.

    * We listen to students concerns about academic, emotional or social problems

    * We help students learn to process their problems and plan actions and goals

    * We mediate conflict between students

    * We assist in parent/teacher relationships

    * We refer students and families to mental health resources
