• This is a simple daily routine that you can do in order to keep your students on track:

    First- Morning Meeting

Go over the Day of the Week, Month, Season and date- You can use https://www.starfall.com/h/index-kindergarten.php and use the calendar to do this.

After it goes through we go over it with the questions:

What is the day of the week?

                    What is the month?

                    What is the season?

What is the number today? And we count to the number on the calendar.

After we sing songs about the days of the week, months of the year, season and colors, the links are below:

Next, Reading: You can watch a story on youtube (anyone that they like) and then ask them a few questions such as Who was in the story, what did you like?, tell me one thing that happened?

Letters: You can use youtube.com and watch sesame street podcasts on the letters of the alphabet, pick one letter a day and go over it, have them name 3 things that begin with that letter and have them practice writing that letter. You can also use starfall.com to go over the letters.

Numbers: Again use youtube.com and watch the sesame street podcast for a number. Pick one number each day and count to that number. You can use any objects in the house to count with.

OT Skills: This would be something that they could do with writing their name, numbers and letters by holding the pencil correctly and either copying what is in front of them or tracing. Also, cutting with scissors. You can draw lines on a piece of paper and have them cut along the lines.

PT Skills: This is where we like to use go noodle. This is a great site to give the students indoor recess with fun dance songs. Here is the link: https://app.gonoodle.com/ it’s a free account to use all you need to do is sign up.
