The 21st Century Community Learning Center and Niagara Falls High School have teamed up to provide our students and the community with programs tailored specifically for their needs and interests. The programs are funded by monies received from the NYSED and will continue through June 30, 2009.

Who is involved in the 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) program?
We are  Niagara Falls High School  in collaboration with Family and Children's Service of Niagara, Inc., Niagara Fine Arts, Inc., Niagara Falls Police Department, Ciurczak & Co., Focus on Families, Proscenium Players, OSC 21, the Weed and Seed Program of Niagara Falls, Niagara P.A.L. and several other community partners. 
 
Who will benefit from participating in this program?
Students in grades 9-12, their families and staff of Niagara Falls High School and Niagara Catholic High School.
 
WHAT                                                                        

What is the 21st Century Community Learning Center?
The 21st CCLC is an after school program that:
    • provides supervision
    • offers academic support - enrichment and remediation
    • enriches students through fine arts opportunities
    • improves attitudes and relationships with peers and others
    • assists parents and families
    • supports wellness and health
    • enhances safety in the school and community

 

WHEN                                                         

 

When are activities available?   

The 21st Century Community Learning Center is open year round. Academic tutoring is available Monday-Thursday, 3:10-4:10 pm during the fall semester. Check out our link at "After School Tutoring".
Other activities are available as scheduled. Please go to the Programs link on this page for more information.
Summer Programs  begin in mid July and coincide with summer school. Information and applications will be available in May 2009.
 
Transportation is available for academic tutoring participants and other selected programs.
